Who Are We?

Founded in 2006, Associés en Management public et Développement (AMD International) is a consultancy, consulting, technical assistance and training firm with internationally recognized expertise. The firm is active in several African countries where it mainly focuses on the following areas: public policy, public and local finance, international aid management, development project and program engineering, and human resources management. To carry out its missions, AMD International mobilizes expertise in several sectors such as: economic, administrative and local governance, infrastructure, mining and energy, trade, industry and crafts, ICT, health, education, technical and vocational training, employment and social protection, food and nutrition security, agriculture, water and sanitation, the environment, and gender.

Faced with the complexity of management issues within organizations, we rely on multidisciplinary teams.

Our Team

AMD International employs several hundred senior and junior experts of various profiles and nationalities: experienced specialists in public finance, public policy, strategic and operational planning, evaluation of social protection projects and programs, health economics, education and training engineering, environment, project management, information systems engineering, auditing, gender, etc.). Its team of specialists is distributed between its head office in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and the various countries/areas of intervention of the Office.

THE INTERNAL HEADQUARTERS TEAM

AMD International employs approximately fifty managers and support staff at its headquarters. Its pool of internal experts has proven expertise in international project management.

THE EXPERTS

AMD International has a national and international network of over 500 experienced consultants who can be mobilized on a project-by-project basis to carry out assignments in the various themes it covers, which are primarily related to public policy reforms. The firm draws on the diversity, shared experiences, and expertise of its pool of junior and senior experts from various nationalities across the African continent (North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa, and Southern Africa), Canada, Europe, and the Americas. To better meet its clients' expectations, the teams of experts deployed to carry out field assignments must, above all, share and apply the firm's values: excellence and quality of services provided, client satisfaction, and social added value.

Team organization

To manage projects, AMD International sets up teams composed of:

Project Manager

A project manager to coordinate the interventions of experts in the field and provide technical support in carrying out the mission;

Project Director

A Project Manager ensuring the coordination of project activities.

Team of experts

Members of the team of experts mobilized for the implementation of the project;

Internal team

Members of the internal quality assurance and contract management team, to provide the technical, logistical and financial support necessary for the execution of the project.

Project Management Coordination

Project management coordination is ensured by the General Management. To ensure the proper execution of projects, the following four (4) departments are actively involved:
