Who We Are?
Founded in 2006, Associates in Public Management and Development (AMD International) is a research, consulting, technical assistance and training firm that has acquired an internationally recognized expertise. AMD International is active in several African countries where it is mainly involved in the following areas: public policy, public and local finance, international aid management, engineering of development projects and programmes, and human resources management. To carry out its missions, AMD International mobilizes skills in several sectors such as: economic, administrative and local governance, infrastructure, mining and energy, trade, industry and handicrafts, ICTs, health, education, technical and vocational training, employment and social protection, food security and nutrition, agriculture, water and sanitation, environment and gender.

Our Team
AMD International employs several hundred senior and junior experts of various profiles and nationalities: specialists in public finance, public policy, strategic and operational planning, evaluation of social protection projects and programmes, health economics, education and training engineering, environment, project management, information systems engineering, auditing, gender, etc.) Its team of specialists is divided between its headquarters in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and the various countries/areas of intervention of the Office.
Experts
AMD International has a national and international network of more than 500 experienced consultants who can be mobilized, depending on the project, to carry out missions in the various fields it covers and which are essentially related to public policy reforms. It relies on the diversity, experience sharing and know-how of its pool of junior and senior experts of various nationalities from the African continent (North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa), Canada, Europe and America.
Head Office Team
HEAD OFFICE TEAM: AMD International employs about 50 managers and support staff at the head office. Its pool of internal experts has proven know-how in international project management.
Team Organization
For the management of projects, AMD International sets up teams composed of :
Project Director
A Project director to coordinate project activities and make quality assurance.
Project Manager
A project manager to coordinate the interventions of experts in the field and provide technical support in the execution of the mission.
Expert Team
Members of the expert team mobilized for the implementation of the project;
Internal Team
Members of the internal quality assurance and contract management team to provide technical, logistical and financial support for project implementation.
Project Management Coordination
Project management is coordinated by the general administration. To ensure the proper execution of projects, the following four (4) departments are actively involved:
Study Department:
Study Department which includes three divisions: Public Finance/Budget Division (PFP/B), Public Policies, Projects and Programmes Division (P4P), Audit-Control-Fiscal Division.
