Gender unit
Overview
The Gender unit mainstreams gender equality in policies, budgets, projects and results monitoring, for governments, donors and development organisations. It is grounded in the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, whereby all individuals are free and equal regardless of gender, and carries forward recommendations from AMD International studies in Africa and beyond towards a fairer world.
